Everyone deserves respect

I have observed that people expect to be respected - when they are in office they expect to get respect from juniors, colleagues, office boys, security guards... But how do they treat these people in return? Do they treat them with respect? Not everyone and not always....
In my opinion, if we want to get respect, then the only way is to treat others with respect.... Every individual deserves to be treated with respect as a human being... Otherwise what we get in return from them is out of fear / obligation maybe but not out of respect.....

Is religion the real cause?

What is the root cause of the conflict happening all over the world? All fingers points towards religious fundamentalism! That’s because in most wars, it looks like people of one religion fighting against people of another religion. Imagine if there was only a single religion in the world, would our world be peaceful?
By that logic, two neighboring countries following the same national religions should have no reason to fight amongst themselves. But this logic also is proved false. Even within the same religion, we find two groups of different sects fighting amongst each other.
I think that the root cause of this conflict is not religion but human nature by itself. The root cause is greed, envy, ego/pride. The other reason is scarcity of resources like food, water caused by unchecked growth of the population. Humankind is on its way to self destruction…
